Hey all,
I recently started using the app and I'm loving it. I have a question about how to complete certain jobs. I've seen a few posts and articles on different sites that say that we should not tell a stores workers what we are doing. I recently did an audit on a tiny liquor store where I was the only customer the whole time I was there. Since the worker was curious as to what I needed, I explained that I was taking some pictures and getting some information for an 'app'. I never said I was using Field Agent or that it was an audit. He didn't mind and helped me find any products I was searching for.
My question is, should I/am I allowed to tell them what I am doing? In a store like Walmart I wouldn't see this as a problem, but a smaller store or venue would be applicable.

I just tell them I'm a caterer, checking prices for an upcoming wedding or other event.

I don’t get the point of being unclear.
